Laurie Sodetani is a custom clothing designer and the owner of Del Mar-based, Seams Fashionable. She works one-on-one with women interested in having comfortable clothes that fit perfectly and make them feel like a million bucks.

For more than 25 years, Laurie has been the “go to person” for traveling business women who appreciate her ability to create interchangeable pieces as well as for ladies tired of full closets and that perpetual feeling of having “nothing to wear.” 

In the past, Laurie traveled the U.S. holding trunk shows for clients around the country. Today, she works with clients one-on-one in her bright and friendly studio near the Del Mar Fairgrounds, creating clothes her clients really enjoy wearing.

As a designer, Laurie has seen styles come and go. While she retains a passion for creating interchangeable core pieces to expand your wardrobe—comfortable clothes that are fun to wear—Laurie now offers wash and wear fabrics and other amazing textiles perfect for our multi-season west coast weather. An avid swimmer, Laurie also makes custom swimsuits in wonderful chlorine resistant fabrics.
